This is an English translation of the Russian Personal Data Processing Policy. The Russian version is the legally authoritative one, since the data controller is registered under Russian law (Federal Law 152-FZ).
This Privacy Policy describes how Alexey Evdokimov (sole proprietor, Russian tax ID INN 344405297470, hereafter "Operator") handles personal data collected from visitors to the website evdokimov.ai, including the "About me" page at cv.evdokimov.ai (hereafter "Site").
When you send a request through the form or through the assistant window on the Site, you may provide:
The Site also receives technical data automatically: browser type, visit time, the page you came from and ad link tags. It goes to server logs and to Yandex Metrica (section 7), and where you came from is attached to your request. Your IP address is received by Yandex Metrica and by the Tilda service that serves the Site's fonts.
Personal data is processed based on user consent (Article 6, Part 1, Item 1 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ of July 27, 2006 "On Personal Data", Russian Federation). Before you send a request, the form and the assistant window ask you to confirm that you have read this Policy.
Requests are recorded on the Site's server in a Hetzner data center in Finland, reach the Operator as an email in a Gmail mailbox and as a Telegram message, and are kept in the Operator's work notes. All requests to the Site pass through a Timeweb server in Russia: for evdokimov.ai it is a proxy, and the "About me" page at cv.evdokimov.ai is hosted on it. Request data is not stored there, only an access log (page address, time, browser type) for about two weeks; the Site's server logs are kept for the same time. Requests are kept as long as needed to reply and keep working with you. If you withdraw consent or ask to delete your data, the Operator deletes it within the time limit set by law. The Operator takes reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.
To deliver a request to the Operator, the Site uses delivery services. They receive the request data: name, contacts, company, task description.
To prepare a reply, the request is processed by foreign AI text services (US companies): they read the request and help sort it, draft a reply and find it in the Operator's notes. These services receive the request text together with contacts.
Request assistant. If the request window runs an AI assistant with a neural network, what you write about your task is sent to Qwen (Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, international region Singapore) so the assistant can briefly restate the task and suggest similar work from the Site. The assistant asks for your name, company and contact in separate questions. Typed answers to these questions are not sent to Qwen; answers dictated into the microphone are sent as a recording for speech recognition (see "Voice input" below). If you type them into the task text, the server removes emails, phone numbers, links and @handles, but names, company names and other details stay in the text, so it is better not to include them in the task description. Alibaba Cloud stores requests in Singapore and may run the computation on its servers in other countries. According to Alibaba Cloud, customer data is not used to train models. Before the assistant's first reply, the window says that the task text goes to a neural network and links to this Policy. If you do not want this, use the regular request form.
Voice input. If the request window has a microphone button and you use it, the voice recording is sent to the same Alibaba Cloud Model Studio service (Qwen speech recognition, Singapore region) to turn it into text. The whole recording is sent, with everything you say. The microphone button is also shown on the name, company and contact questions: if you answer them by voice, that data goes to Alibaba Cloud in the recording, and the server cannot cut it out of audio. The recognized text appears in the input box, you can edit it and you decide whether to send it; after that it is handled like typed text. The Site's servers never write the recording to disk, and they do not write the recognized text to disk until you send it. The recording stays in memory only while it is being recognized, usually a few seconds. The server keeps the recognized text in memory for up to 10 minutes so that sending the same recording again is not recognized twice. Only service data goes to the log: when the request came and how long it took, the duration, size and format of the recording, the token count, the length of the recognized text, cost and the first six characters of the chat number. Model Studio documentation does not state how long Alibaba Cloud keeps requests. The Operator does not use your voice to identify you. The microphone button appears only after the line saying that voice goes to a neural network, with a link to this Policy, is shown under the task field. The microphone is optional: you can type the same thing or use the regular form.
Otherwise the Operator does not share personal data with third parties, except where required by the law of the Russian Federation.
Transfers outside Russia. When these services work, request data is transferred to Finland (Site hosting) and the USA (Resend, Cloudflare, Gmail, AI text services; these companies' servers may also be in other countries), and to Telegram and FormSubmit, which do not say in which country they store data. Alibaba Cloud receives the task text if the request window runs the assistant with a neural network, and the voice recording if you use the microphone: requests are stored in Singapore, computation may run on Alibaba Cloud servers in other countries.
The Site uses Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC, Russia) with Webvisor. Metrica and Webvisor start working as soon as you open the Site. Metrica sets cookies and collects visit data: pages, transitions, clicks, scrolling. Webvisor records what happens on the page, including typing in form fields and the chat with the assistant, to understand where the Site is inconvenient. You can stop Metrica from collecting data and recording your visits in your browser settings or with the Yandex Metrica blocker: yandex.ru/support/metrica/ru/general/opt-out. The Site itself stores in your browser the cookie consent flag and, on Lab pages, marks of issues you have read, and until the tab is closed it remembers where you came from and the assistant chat number. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some Site functions may work worse.
