A music industry bot that doesn't make things up.
"IMI Base" is trained on materials from the Institute for Music Initiatives: journal, specialists, labels, festivals, jobs. Every answer links to its source, free on Telegram.
Spent six months building the bot: the IMI knowledge base, release and stats assistants, premium payments, launch.

One question, two answers
Examples from the bot's rules: on the left, what it is forbidden to say- "Moderation takes 6–48 hours"
- "It costs 750–1,500 rubles"
- Generic advice "of its own", no source
"The IMI knowledge base has no information on moderation times. I recommend asking the experts." And when the base does have the answer, it comes with facts and a link to an IMI article.
Why the bot doesn't make things up
Models confidently invent moderation times and distribution prices. The bot answers only from IMI's five knowledge bases and catches itself on words like "usually" and "roughly".
The bot takes sources only from the index of IMI articles. If it can't find confirmation, it gives no link: honesty beats quantity.
Artists, labels, venues: every time one is mentioned, the bot checks Russia's foreign agents registry and adds the mandatory label.
What "IMI Base" can do

81+ festivals with open calls and a weekly events calendar.
120+ labels with contacts, 62+ media outlets with pitching rules.
From producers to lawyers, with rates and portfolios.
Asks about your release and builds a promotion strategy.
A stats screenshot or spreadsheet in, a breakdown of the numbers out.
When the base has no answer, it calls in the Chat Krug community.
